Economic Systems Design IDavid Porter ECON 632 Prerequisites: Course in linear and nonlinear optimization, and course in linear algebra. Introduces students to the analysis and design of exchange systems. Students are required to become familiar with the literature on applied mechanism design. Through in-class experiments, students come to understand the behavioral aspects of auction systems, matching algorithms, scheduling problems, and information markets.
